To celebrate the 100th anniversary of General Motors, I was commissioned to shoot a series of three posters showcasing the first three generations of the Corvette in the Historic Carriage Town section of Flint, Michigan. This location was the birthplace of General Motors and was where the first Corvettes were produced. The photographs were staged by statues of Billy Durant and Dallas Dort, two of the most influential figures in General Motors. The posters also included a horse and carriage to mark Mr. Durant’s humble beginning as a carriage manufacturer. To enhance the photographs, safety barriers were digitally removed and the sidewalks were digitally cleaned of cracks and stains. I completed all photography and digital correction.
